This was a great pilgrimage for a seminarian. To be able to walk in the footsteps of St. Thomas Aquinas, where he lived, died, and taught, was very moving for me throughout the pilgrimage. This definitely progressed my discernment of the priesthood.
In every aspect, Verso went above and beyond our expectations--not only leading us into the beauty of Italy, but drawing us into the profound mysteries of our faith.
Vincenzo worked tirelessly to ensure all pilgrims could fully participate, and to make available as many events and opportunities as could possibly be arranged. Everything we needed for our pilgrimage was arranged and available at every moment.
We only had a couple of days in Rome and Vincenzo helped us maximize every moment! We arrived in Rome not even expecting to meet the Holy Father but Vincenzo was able to arrange it through the Sposi Novelli tradition! He also arranged for us to visit the tomb of St. Peter through the Scavi office; normally, this would take months to make happen but Vincenzo knew exactly how to get us in! We wouldn't have known what to do without him! Thank you, Vincenzo! You are amazing!
Vincenzo did a fantastic job taking care of all the logistical troubles that come with international travel. As a result, I was able to enter more fully into the spiritual realm of the pilgrimage and to have an experience with Christ's Church that was truly unforgettable. Furthermore, Vincenzo had a deep faith that encouraged us all to cooperate with the incredible grace that come from a pilgrimage.
Vincenzo was so knowledgeable about everything on the pilgrimage and was an amazing tour guide. Everywhere we went was unbelievable and places I truly believe were the most impactful and the most beautiful were the less crowded ones. Vincenzo made me feel like I was safe and having fun while also making sure we knew what to expect wherever we went.
Vincenzo helped me get closer to the faith and I am very grateful for that. He brought a group of students to the Benedictine monastery and I had my first confession there in more than 5 years. I had my first supplì with him in the Testaccio market, showing us a beautiful part of Rome that I otherwise would have never gone to. He is a role model for me and for many others.
The pilgrimage was very transformative and helped me to grow in faith and strengthen my relationship with God. The places we stopped, both planned and improvised, were incredible. This was a very worthwhile experience and I would recommend this trip to anyone looking to grow in faith and learn more about the rich history of the Catholic Church. Our trip guide, Vincenzo, went above and beyond in planning and leading our trip.
